My name is Carlos M. Rodriguez and I would like to first thank God for all that he has done in my life without God nothing is possible and to God be all the Glory. I would like to share a little bit of my testimony with you. I am 38 years old and it's only by the grace of God that I am alive. After the tender age of just 8 years old I experienced what not being wanted felt like.
My mother for whatever reason felt that she could not and did not want to handle the responsibility of raising another child. From a total of 7 children I was the youngest of them all so I didn't really understand what to make of the situation but one thing I remember was feeling very abandoned.
My mom drove to my elder sisters house, Margie, and she asked her if she could watch me for a few days. In just a few hours later my mom called Margie's house just to tell her she didn't want me anymore..And I must say today" I am very glad that she did"...You see, we must understand that no matter what we are going through we must remember "God" is ALWAYS in control...Amen! It just so happened that Margie was serving the Lord and I never would have been here today sharing this with you but it was God utilizing my sister Margie as one of his tools in bringing me to the throne of the Merciful, Glorious, Almighy God we serve today...Glory to God!...I continued to seek the Lord all the years while I lived with my big sister Margie, may God bless her and her family!...But not all was always smooth.
The enemie was always placing obstacles in my path and it took its toll on me and at the age of 16 I backslided and fell into a very hard and dark way of life and it only seemed to get worse and I seemed to fall deeper and deeper into the pit that was long awaiting me...From Living for God...In turning from God I realized that I was now a servant of darkness and all that represented it, but here I am today serving the Lord and living by his grace and mercy...I been through many hard times and been through many storms and trials. I am sure that you also have been through many and it is only by the grace of God that we are all still here...Amen!...Abandonment, drug distribution, drug use, homelessness, gang afiliation and suicide atempts are some of the bondages and chains God has liberated me from.
I really encourage you to keep focus on the Lord and no matter what the storm feels like or seems like...Remember Jesus is with you through it all...HAVE FAITH!...I am working on a book based on my testimony and in this book there is much more mentioned and how the mercy of the Lord is unconditional..."And remember ALL the Glory belongs to God! I thank him everyday for blessing me with a wonderful wife, Tami Rodriguez, And our four blessed children, Tahira 14, Amina 13, Samuel 7, Fatima 6...May God continue to bless you and your family, We hope to here from you our hearts are open to all!
